His monthly income was only INR 8,000 at that point of time. Later while working he realized that he could do something with his cooking skills.

He also realized that during those days it was quite uncommon to sell soups which created an idea inside his mind. He placed a can of soup on top of the carrier of his cycle and started selling soup wearing a chef’s cap with a board in front of his cycle written as ‘Cycle Soup Wala’.
