Meet Ms Zaiba Sarang - Co-Founder IThink Logistics

Here are some glimpses of our exclusive conversation with zaiba sarang.

What inspired you to choose this path in business?

My entrepreneurial journey started before Ithink Logistics. Along with my co-founders, I ran a successful tech solution company called Depasser Infotech. Back in 2016, E-commerce was booming, and the existing solutions were failing to meet the customers' unmet needs. Resulting in unfavorable conditions for e-commerce to grow. Logistics seemed to be a very exciting and challenging turning path wherein we would have an opportunity to cater to a bigger real-life problem.

Why did you start this company?

During a conversation, one of my co-founders shared the gaps he had observed in the E-commerce logistics industry. We had our expertise in the product development that we gained through our previous company. We realized that we had a solution that would not only satisfy the customer but also create value in their life.
Since then, we haven't looked back.

What do you think is the biggest strength of this company right now?

Purpose Driven Team: I believe the biggest strength we have as of now is our Team, who are passionate and focused. We have a young and agile team, and we encourage perspective over experience

What have been the biggest challenges you've faced so far?

Each day comes with its challenges as such. It will be tough to list a few. But one of the significant challenges is that we are still trying to identify the right product market fit. Another challenge was finding the right talent and building a team that fits our culture.

How do you see this organization changing in the next five years?

This year we have already started our international journey. In the next five years, we want to be a must-have solution for E-Commerce sellers; with our domestic services, we want to help sellers establish their brands, and with our international services, we want them to go global. We also aspire to contribute to the environment by being a green logistics company.

What were your most significant accomplishments last year?

Some of our achievements for the year 2021 are as follows:
-The most prominent achievement was doubling the number of sellers, all thanks to the pandemic being a blessing in disguise.
-we got our 6 STEP NDR PLAN PATENTED
-we started our Fulfillment network for same day and next day delivery

What do you find is the best way of communicating with the organization?

I believe any form of communication is a must for the organization. So to make sure every department is on the same page, we have a monthly Town Hall meeting wherein all the organization members connect and share their accomplishments and challenges faced by each department. We in iThink logistics do not have any hierarchy; we follow an open door policy wherein anyone can directly approach the founders and co-founders.
We encourage self-expression.

What do you do outside of your professional life ?

Most of my time is occupied with work, as I am very passionate about it. But I try to take some off to read and travel; I love meeting new people and networking with them.
