Early Life and Initial Career Days
When it comes to the childhood days of Punit Goenka, not every people in the world is as lucky as Punit. We have to agree with the fact that, he got the best when he was very young. It could be of anything starting from his toys to his education and career.
Punit Goenka is the elder son of Subhash Chandra. Punit grew up in various cities in India and international countries as well. He started his primary studies in Hisar a city in Haryana unfortunately, we do not know the name of his school.

When it comes to his career days, he was given quite a lot of practical work. Back in 1993, Punit was selling amusement park packages for Essel World to schools in Virar, Mumbai. Many of you will be surprised by the fact that this was his very first project or assignment within the Essel Group. It was counted as his major part of the treating for the job he would be given.
Later, he was promoted to assistant to the head of Essel Packaging, the floor supervisor of a factory. Other than this, he also became an executive assistant to his father for nearly six months. After this training and job, he joined the famous Zee Music Company.

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) on Monday deferred hearing on Essel Group Chairman, Subhash Chandra and ZEE CEO and Managing Director, Punit Goenka’s plea challenging market regulator SEBI’s interim order till June 27.
It was on June 19 when SAT refused to give any interim relief to Chandra and Goenka after the markets regulator barred them from holding the position of a director or any key managerial personnel in any listed company.
Now, following this statement, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises challenged the SEBI order at SAT. On the other hand, the National Company Law Tribunal hearing on the potential merger of ZEEL with Sony Pictures India is now expected to resume on Monday.
ZEE on SAT revealed that the market regulator had no evidence beyond the bank statement to prove the allegations of round-tipping of funds and the SEBI cannot pass an ex-parte order. Now, this is what is going on with ZEE and SAT.
